Making the transition from performing musician to composer has felt like coming home - writing music is, for Liam, at the heart of why we perform it - to communicate and inspire.

 

It's for this reason that Liam's music seems at once fresh and familiar - it draws upon all the influences that have made up his career so far, but distilled into the immediacy of the image he is seeking to evoke at any given time.

Pastoral briefs benefit from the delicate touch and playful imagery of a pianist, while more dramatic cues bear the unique signature of a passionate live musician.

Liam's music has quickly found it's way onto UK television, including BBC, ITV and Channel 5, as well as across Europe, the US and Asia. 

2026 will also see work begin on his first major film score. 

 

Liam is motivated by the challenge to evoke imagery and capture the essence of the moment, and relishes the challenge to find new ways to communicate ideas through his music.
